The original circus poster 'Eight Lions’ Heads and One Woman', designed by Tadeusz Jodłowski in 1971, is a striking example of the Polish School of Poster Art from the 1970s. The composition is built upon a geometric grid of nine squares, featuring eight flat, stylised lions’ heads juxtaposed with a single, highly ornamental female face—all rendered in a synthetic, almost mask-like manner. The palette is bold and pulsating, ranging from deep magenta and red through green, blue, violet, and touches of white, orange, and turquoise, intensifying the poster’s dynamic character.
