This original "Cyrk" poster by Katarzyna Gintowt, offset printed in Poland in 1989, is a striking example of late 1980s Polish graphic design. The composition centers on a boldly drawn clown, whose white-painted face features strong black eyebrows, blue eyeshadow, a broad red smile, and a prominent red nose. The clown's orange, tousled hair and tilted green-and-purple striped top hat add expressive flair, while a ruffled collar in matching colors ties the palette together. The background is a deep, warm brown-black, which frames the vibrant hues. Across the top, the word "CYRK" stretches in large, rounded letters—yellow, red, pink, and blue—each adorned with small yellow stars.
