This Napoleon III style decanter, crafted around 1900 by the renowned French house Baccarat, exemplifies the luxurious craftsmanship of the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The body, made from layered glass in a saturated ruby hue, is formed into a faceted, polygonal shape whose architectural quality is emphasized by precise, vertical and geometric gilding in 24-carat gold. The neck flows harmoniously into a wide collar, topped with a crystal stopper cut in a diamond pattern and adorned with intersecting gold lines, echoing the motifs of the body. The composition is marked by balanced symmetry, gloss, and meticulous execution, further authenticated by an original French perfumery label on the underside.
