This late 19th-century French decanter is crafted from high-quality crystal glass, distinguished by its cool, slightly bluish transparency and subtle sheen. Substantial solid silver mounts encircle the base, form a collar at the neck, and finish the rounded top of the heavy stopper. The silver, with a matte-satin finish, features finely engraved geometric and foliate motifs that gracefully encircle both the base and neck.
