This desk, designed by Heinrich Roepstorff and crafted in Denmark in the 1960s, exemplifies the mature Scandinavian modernism of its era. The body, clad in teak veneer, features a warm, medium brown tone with a subtle reddish hue, while the linear grain pattern enhances the wood's natural appeal. The construction rests on slender, outward-splayed chrome legs connected by thin crossbars. Six spacious drawers—three on each side—are fitted with minimalist, gently curved silver-finish metal handles. The drawer fronts are flush with the frame, creating a clean, orderly silhouette. With harmonious proportions—a wide top (150 cm), depth of 70 cm, and height of 75 cm—and a symmetrical layout, the desk presents itself equally well from the front or the back.
