This desk from the 1960s, produced by Norwegian manufacturer Sola Møbler, exemplifies classic mid-century modern design. The construction features a mahogany-veneered top and body, with solid wood tapered legs finished with brass-colored caps. On the left side, there are three functional drawers with gently curved, silver-tone metal handles; the top drawer is equipped with a lock. The right side houses a spacious cabinet with a softly rounded front and a round brass knob, containing a fixed internal shelf. At the back, a universal bar compartment with an additional shelf expands storage options. The desk is in very good condition: the surface has been refreshed, and only minimal signs of use and minor veneer touch-ups are visible, without detracting from its overall appearance. This piece tells the story of Norwegian craftsmanship from the 1960s, where functionality was intertwined with harmonious lines.
