ABOUT PRODUCTID 38203
The Atlas desk fan from the 1930s is a distinctive example of early Central European industrial design. Its construction features a substantial, rounded base and stem made of glossy black enameled steel or cast iron, ensuring both stability and a characteristic, robust appearance. The three fan blades are crafted from aluminum with a matte silver finish, while the guard is composed of slender, wavy metal rods in a light silver hue, arranged in a geometric, Art Deco-inspired mesh. At the center, a brass medallion introduces a refined, golden accent. The fan’s proportions echo those of the 1930s: a broad, weighted base narrowing elegantly into a slender neck that supports the motor and blade assembly. The power cord has been replaced, making the fan ready for modern use while preserving its authentic character. Condition: very good, with minor traces of use and a gentle metal patina, consistent with original pieces from the period. This fan
