ABOUT PRODUCTID 18063
This Art Deco desk inkwell set, crafted in Poland during the 1920s and 1930s, embodies precise craftsmanship and a balanced interplay of materials. Its base is formed from thick, glossy black hyaloid glass, shaped into a clear, geometric block. At the center sits a lidded inkwell made from faceted, transparent crystal with vertical cuts, producing a prismatic effect that intensifies light reflection. Four solid, rounded handles and the lid are made from warm-toned brass with a gentle semi-matte finish. Symmetrically arranged handles emphasize the architectural structure, while additional geometric brass appliqués at the sides introduce dynamic energy typical of the period’s modernist language. This ensemble remains in very good condition, with only slight patina to the brass and no visible signs of damage or heavy use.The object encapsulates the voice of an era defined by determined optimism and orderly modernity—evoking the refined atmosphere of interwar offices and institutions
