This desk lamp from the 1970s exemplifies the European mid-century modern movement, where geometric forms and practicality meet bold color. The construction features a matte black metal base—flat and circular (20 cm diameter)—from which rise two vertical rods supporting flexible brass gooseneck arms with a warm, gently aged patina. The adjustable arms allow smooth directional control of the light. The conical shades, finished in vivid red with a semi-matte surface, have a light, speckled interior to help diffuse illumination softly. Brass connectors and balanced proportions—created by the taller and shorter arms—lend the lamp a dynamic, asymmetrical silhouette with an industrial edge.
