The Brusel table lamp, designed by Josef Hurka and produced in 1970s Czechoslovakia, exemplifies the distinct modernist "brusel" style. Constructed from metal lacquered in a cool, matte cobalt blue—covering both the elongated, trapezoidal shade and the solid rectangular base—its architecture is defined by clean, geometric balance. A chrome-plated central stem forms an elegant contrast while allowing smooth vertical adjustment of the shade for tailored light direction.
