This 1920s desk lamp exemplifies historicist design, where Neo-Gothic inspiration is translated into the functionality of a daily object. The base, crafted from highly polished brass in a warm golden hue, evokes a miniature cathedral: pointed arches, buttresses, and rich architectural detailing create a monumental setting for the slender, fluted central column.
