The desk lamp designed by Klaus Musinowski for VEB Halle in the 1970s GDR exemplifies utilitarian industrial design rooted in the context of Eastern Europe’s era. Its structure features a rectangular, angular lampshade in a matte olive green, paired with a pale yellow, rectangular metal base. The lamp is supported by a single, elegantly curved chrome-plated steel arm, attached with visible black plastic and metal joints that allow precise adjustment of the light’s direction.
