The SZV 11 desk lamp, produced in Hungary by Szarvasi Vas Fémipari in the 1980s, is composed of two cylindrical metal elements: a horizontally oriented lampshade with parallel ventilation slits and a vertical base finished with a slightly flared, stable foot. Both elements are finished in a warm, ivory-cream semi-gloss, while the connecting arm is chromed metal, introducing a subtle contrast and highlighting the geometric discipline of the design. The lamp’s form—characteristic of the Space Age—features soft, rounded lines and a dynamic, slightly asymmetrical silhouette.
