This Danish dining table from the 1970s is a quintessential example of Scandinavian modernism. Its construction is based on rosewood veneer in a warm, medium brown tone with subtle reddish hues and a pronounced, linear wood grain. The satin finish enhances the noble quality of the material, highlighting the natural texture without dominating it. The tabletop and apron are crafted from rosewood veneer, while the legs are made of solid wood stained to match the top; the legs have a round cross-section, taper elegantly towards the floor, and are slightly splayed outward, giving the form a sense of visual lightness.
