The compact, harmonious silhouette evokes a kennel, with a slightly overhanging roof designed to mimic wooden boards through vertical grooves and overlapping planes. The surface has a cool, silvery metallic tone with a matte finish, showing natural patina and darker tarnish in the recesses and around details. A small, three-dimensional dog figure guards the entrance, while the roof is topped with a simple floral motif in relief. The side lock, attached to an ornate, period-appropriate key on a short chain, remains functional. All elements – the dog figure, lock, chain, and key – appear original and preserved in very good condition.
