This vintage double pendant chandelier from the late 1960s and early 1970s exemplifies East German mid-century modern lighting design. The structure features two geometric, angular glass shades in a matte, milky white hue, both suspended symmetrically from a horizontal wooden bar finished in a warm honey-orange tone. The bar's smooth, lacquered surface highlights its color, while metal fittings and original beige cords complete the composition. Each shade measures 17 cm in height and 14 cm in diameter, with the wooden bar spanning 40 cm and the total lamp height reaching 80 cm. The lamp is defined by its simple, functional form and balanced proportions. It is fully operational; the glass shades are free from chips or cracks, and only minor, age-appropriate signs of use are visible on the wood and cords. The chandelier is preserved in good vintage condition.
