ABOUT PRODUCTID 30220
This Art Deco dressing table, created in Czechoslovakia in the 1950s, is crafted from oak and beech wood, finished with a matte, waxed coating in a warm, medium oak shade with a slight golden hue. The piece is defined by its distinctly rounded side modules and central section, forming a harmonious, undulating line typical of late Central European Art Deco. Each side segment offers three drawers with integrated, rounded wooden handles, emphasizing the geometric discipline and coherence of the design. The central, slightly recessed drawer and wide, low kneehole add everyday comfort and functionality. The tall, rectangular mirror with softly rounded upper corners, set in a minimalist frame, has been newly replaced and remains in pristine condition. Seamless joints and the absence of visible hardware highlight the clarity of line and high standard of craftsmanship. The dressing table is in excellent restored condition – the wood displays a uniform patina and the finish is even across all surfaces. The table evokes the spirit of the 1950s, when modernist functionality blended with the gentle, geometric rhythm of Art Deco. Soft curves and the warm tone of wood recall mornings imbued with ritual and calm. The form guides the eye fluidly – from the gentle edges of the drawers to the tall mirror awaiting the first brushstroke or touch of favorite perfume. The postwar modernity is delicately interwoven with sentimental elegance, and every detail invites an unhurried, contemplative moment at
