ABOUT PRODUCTID 36117
The G-Plan Fresco teak dressing table, designed by Victor Wilkins in the United Kingdom during the 1960s, is an embodiment of British modernism from that era. The body, crafted from solid teak and teak veneer, showcases a prominent, natural grain with a warm, medium-brown hue and a subtle reddish undertone. Its surface is finished in an even, semi-matte lacquer that highlights the depth of the material while offering a soft, protective layer. On either side of the tabletop are symmetrical drawer units, each with two spacious drawers and sculpted, integrated teak handles. The centrepiece is a wide, rectangular mirror with rounded corners, set within a slim teak frame and adjustable for angle. Slightly tapered, rounded legs lend the piece a sense of lightness and modernity, while the precise, invisible joinery underscores the minimalist intent. Condition: fully restored, newly finished with a replaced mirror – no visible signs of use, an even and refreshed surface.
