ABOUT PRODUCTID 1767
The Borocrystal, Chribska alcohol set from the 1950s and 1960s comprises a shaker and six glasses crafted from topaz-colored glass with a satin, frosted finish on the upper sections. The lower parts of both the shaker and glasses are adorned with horizontal, glossy gold bands that create a striking contrast against the matte surface, highlighting the geometric, cylindrical forms—hallmarks of mid-century modern design. The shaker features a polished brass collar and cap, which are highly reflective and harmonize with the gold detailing on the glass. The glass texture transitions from smooth, matte at the top to ribbed and glossy at the base. All elements are preserved in excellent condition—free from chips, scratches, or signs of wear, with intact and unfaded gilding. This set tells the story of Central European modernism, where functionality and clarity were complemented by subtle luxury. The cylindrical shapes and precise gold lines evoke the spirit of the 1950s, an era when modernity emerged without abandoning refined details. The topaz glass softly diffuses light, reminiscent of evenings where every toast mattered, and the gold bands catch the glow of lamps, conjuring the ambiance of mid-century living rooms. The set can serve as the centerpiece of a home bar or be displayed on a console in the living room. It pairs well with mid-century furniture and accessories—such as teak sideboards, minimalist textiles, or lighting with brass accents. It may be combined with geometric ceramics or dark woods to emphasize its modernist pedigree. In collector’s interiors, it can be complemented by other glass
