This late 19th-century ceramic ceiling light is a testament to the eclectic design language that emerged from historicist trends in Poland, likely crafted in the Kraków region. The structure features a broad, glazed ceramic rosette, richly decorated with raised patterns of bull’s eye motifs and acanthus leaves, with the edges highlighted by 24-carat gold gilding. The ceramic surface is highly polished, almost mirror-like. The shade is a smooth, opal white glass globe with a satin finish, softly diffusing the light. The proportions are harmonious: a wide base (21 cm) transitions seamlessly into the rounded shade (15.5 cm diameter), with a total height of 20 cm.
