ABOUT PRODUCTID 12620
This eclectic figural tazza, titled 'Tree of Happiness', was crafted in Poland in the late 19th century. The dish is made of silver-plated brass, its tone a cool, muted silver with authentic patina – darker oxidized areas and softly dulled highlights speak of its age. The wide, shallow bowl is adorned with repetitive relief motifs along the rim and underside, referencing late European ornamental styles. The central stem takes the form of an artfully rendered, three-dimensional tree with fine leaves and branches, beside which rests a small sculpted deer, giving the whole arrangement a subtly naturalistic, whimsical touch. The round, robust, tiered base is embellished with raised oval beading, resting on three ornate lion's paw feet – a hallmark of the eclectic historicism typical for the period. Textural contrasts unfold from smooth silvering to grainier oxidized hollows, lending depth and structure to the ensemble. All connections are expertly
