This sugar bowl, dating from the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries, is crafted in the eclectic style from silver-plated brass. Its surface is adorned with a precise guilloche pattern in a regular checkerboard motif, which covers all visible sides as well as the lid. The center of the lid features a delicately engraved cartouche, framed by subtle linear decoration. The rectangular form, with softly rounded edges and corners, emphasizes the solidity of the construction. The bowl stands on four small spherical feet, which are integral to the design. The color is a muted, warm silver with visible natural patina and a slight matte finish. All original elements are preserved, with precise joints and a well-fitted lid.
