A porcelain egg set from the 1930s, produced by the renowned Epiag (Pirkenhammer, Brezova) manufactory near Karlovy Vary—a region famed for its porcelain craftsmanship. The set consists of a rectangular tray (25 × 15.5 × 2 cm), four egg cups (6.6 × 4.6 cm), and a dual-compartment condiment holder with a central handle (4.6 × 10 × 3.8 cm). Each piece is made from fine, glazed white porcelain, richly decorated with a multicolored transfer print in a cubist, geometric pattern with oriental—so-called 'Chinese'—motifs. Vivid shades of pink, blue, yellow, orange, green, and black are highlighted by generous gilding on rims, bases, and the handle. The decorations are highly glossy and carefully executed, with the word 'Karlsbad' inscribed on the condiment holder to emphasize the set's origin.
