ABOUT PRODUCTID 38722
This Windsor Loucky espresso cup and saucer, produced in Karlovy Vary in the 1950s, embodies the hallmarks of Central European porcelain modernism. The set features a delicate, pastel yellow-green glaze with a warm undertone, covering the exterior of both cup and saucer. The interior of the cup and the central well of the saucer remain crisp, glossy white, highlighting the finesse of the porcelain. Hand-applied, shiny gold accents adorn the edges, a decorative gold band at the base of the cup, and a fully gilded handle—each detail exemplifies the luxurious craftsmanship of the period. The high-gloss finish enhances the vibrancy of both color and gilding, while the porcelain remains thin, light, and perfectly smooth. The cup’s gently flared, tulip-like silhouette with a softly scalloped rim is echoed by the saucer’s undulating edge. Both pieces show no evidence of wear or restoration; the gilding is complete and lustrous. The set is preserved in excellent, collector-grade condition
