ABOUT PRODUCTID 37826
The Cupola No. 4 espresso cup is a design by Mario Bellini, produced by the renowned German manufacturer Rosenthal in the 1990s. The cup and saucer are made of high-quality, glossy porcelain with a smooth, flawless surface. The sculptural, arching handle in pure white forms a striking counterpoint to the dynamic, multicolored decoration by Brigitte Doege. The porcelain surface displays saturated shades of blue, green, yellow, red, purple, black, and white, highlighted by gold accents. Geometric motifs—zigzags, triangles, dots, and chevrons—wrap around both cup and saucer, creating an abstract, postmodern rhythm. The proportions are compact and vertical, with manufacturer and artist signatures visible on the undersides. The set includes the cup, saucer, and original packaging and box. Condition: very good, collector's grade—porcelain shows no signs of use or damage, and the surface is even with no chips or restoration. This cup expresses the spirit of the 1990s: an era when Italian architectural imagination met German precision, and everyday objects became the canvas for bold design experiments. Bellini gave the form architectural clarity
