Model 71 is an extendable dining table designed by Severin Hansen for the Danish manufacturer Haslev Mobelsnedkeri in the 1960s. Crafted from rosewood veneer with a deep, dark brown color and subtle warm reddish undertones, the table embodies the minimalist lines typical of Scandinavian modernism. The round tabletop features a central split, allowing the surface to be extended with two leaves—reaching widths of 168 cm and 218 cm. Slender, conical legs transition seamlessly into the frame, and the joinery is precise and visually unobtrusive. The semi-matte lacquer finish highlights the natural wood grain, especially along the apron. With no additional ornamentation, the focus remains on the material’s texture and balanced proportions. The table has undergone comprehensive restoration, showing no scratches, dents, or signs of wear—a smooth, well-maintained surface, in restored condition.
