This framed 19th-century coat of arms of the Marron family is a Central European heraldic artwork, executed in gouache or opaque watercolor on modestly aged paper. The composition features vibrant royal blue and deep red as dominant colors, accented by gold, olive green, and black, creating a palette that is at once striking and controlled. The shield, divided horizontally, displays stylized red fleur-de-lis motifs; ornate mantling in blue, olive, and gold envelops the shield in accordance with traditional period conventions.
