The 'Fasolka' vase is an example of Polish pressed glassware from the 1970s, produced by Ząbkowice glassworks. Its distinctly organic silhouette is formed from thick, richly saturated red glass with a warm undertone. The slender body narrows upwards, finished with a delicately undulating, irregular rim characteristic of mid-century modern style. The surface of the vase is smooth and highly glossy, intensifying the depth of the color and providing mirror-like reflections. The solid mass and subtle asymmetry reflect hand-forming techniques distinctive for the period. The bean-shaped (fasolka) cross-section avoids ornamentation, relying solely on sculptural color and light. An original label on the neck attests to its authenticity.
