This figural bottle stopper, manufactured by WMF (Württembergische Metallwarenfabrik) in Germany around 1905, exemplifies Art Nouveau tableware with a hunting motif. The elongated, elliptical frame is cast in high-quality white metal, originally silvered and subtly oxidized, and features a double-sided sculptural relief of a stag's head with elaborate antlers – rendered in precise detail on both sides to showcase the high standard of casting.
