The porcelain figurine 'Girl with a Basket' was designed by Zbigniewa Śliwowska-Wawrzyniak in 1957 for the Wałbrzych Porcelain Factory. Measuring 17.5 cm in height, the piece presents a slender, elongated female form in a stylized, geometric fashion, characteristic of the Polish New Look movement of the 1950s.
