This original Polish film poster for 'The Swarm' (1978) is a work by Andrzej Pągowski, a leading figure of the Polish Poster School, designed in 1980 for the film’s Polish release. The composition centers on a striking, organic silhouette of a human head rendered in deep browns and rusty tones, from which oversized, hyper-realistic bees emerge. Shades of brown, ochre, muted yellow, and red intensify the unsettling, almost psychological atmosphere. The matte, slightly grainy texture of the poster paper enhances the expressive, hand-drawn typography, which is an integral part of the artwork.
