ABOUT PRODUCTID 26766
The 'Birillo' floor lamp, designed by Carlo Nason for AV Mazzega in the 1960s, is a quintessential example of the Italian Space Age movement. Its structure is defined by two main elements of glossy white Murano glass: a rounded, bulbous top shade and a flared, trumpet-like base. The central section features a polished, perforated chrome cylinder, subtly reflecting light and introducing an industrial edge. The lamp’s proportions are harmonious, with a smooth transition from the wide base through a slender neck to the voluminous top, creating a sculptural profile characteristic of 1960s Italian modernism. The lamp is equipped with its original cream-colored cord and a dual inline switch, allowing for independent illumination of each section via standard E26/E27 bulbs. The overall palette is white and chrome
