The Elmed Zabrze type 606 ceiling or wall lamp is a piece of Polish modernist design from the 1970s, produced by the Elmed Cooperative in Zabrze. The shade is crafted from thick, pressed glass in a square form, with a deeply embossed three-dimensional geometric pattern—intersecting triangles and diamonds—on the front. The sides of the shade feature regular, vertical ribbing that emphasizes the lamp’s rhythm and texture. The glass, in a cool milky-white hue with a subtle greenish tint, diffuses light evenly; the semi-matte finish softly reflects highlights. The shade is made from a single piece of glass with no visible seams, designed for mounting on a classic metal base, and fitted with a standard E27 lightbulb socket (max 60W), compatible with modern LED bulbs as well.
