This folding side table from the 1960s and 1970s embodies European mid-century modern design, blending a lightweight construction with distinctive decoration. The tubular, lacquered metal frame is finished in a saturated, cool-toned green with a hint of teal. Both trays are adorned with hand-painted floral motifs in vivid shades of pink, yellow, blue, and green, symmetrically arranged in the center and corners of each shelf. The table features original brass-toned metal handles and four small metal-and-rubber casters for easy mobility. Its construction allows for effortless folding—once collapsed, it occupies very little space, and the high-gloss lacquered trays accentuate the depth of color and decorative appeal. The joints and connections are visible yet precisely executed, typical of the era. The table remains in very good vintage condition, showing only subtle patina and light scratches on the handles and frame.
