The decorative, large FUNGA table lamp by NO BEIGE FEELINGS was designed and made as a ONE-OFF piece in Krzysztof Wyżyński's studio. FUNGA was inspired by the shape of mushrooms. As with other items from NO BEIGE FEELINGS, its design is an expression of homage and a reference to aesthetics such as Space Age and Memphis Group. Each lamp is a one-time impression on the theme of sensuality and intensity. It is an unrestrained play with form and color, where the pleasure of visual perception meets utility. Expression, framed by symmetry and order, blurs the artificial boundaries between minimalism and maximalism. The lamp will be a distinctive counterpoint for both minimalist and more eclectic interiors. The original composition of the lamp consists of individually designed elements for each piece, made using 3D printing technology and recovered, high-quality vintage glass elements (the upper lampshade is a unique design by Carlo Moretti from the 1970s). Individual glass elements may bear minimal signs of use typical for vintage items, but we strive to ensure that they continue to impress with the highest quality. The special construction allows for the reuse of glass elements, so that good design can 'live forever' in one form or another. The PLA filament used to print the lamp elements is one of the most ecological biopolymers – it is made from plant-based materials. Our manifesto is PLEASURE.
