This large glass container, attributed to Carlo Moretti and produced in the renowned Murano glass district of Italy in the 1970s, exemplifies modernist design from the era. The vessel’s body is crafted from deeply saturated, cobalt blue glass, presenting a uniform and luminous surface. Its form is defined by pronounced geometric divisions: a cylindrical body with two horizontal ridges, transitioning into a bulbous lower section, and topped with a dome-shaped lid featuring a rounded knob. The clear, polished glass foot and stem provide both stability and visual lightness, elegantly contrasting with the richly colored upper section. The craftsmanship is precise, with seamless junctions between colored and transparent glass. The surface remains glossy and smooth. Inspired by classic apothecary forms, the container is preserved in very good condition, showing only minimal signs of use typical for the 1970s.
