ABOUT PRODUCTID 36679
The 'Korek' glass form is a collectible object designed by Stefan Sadowski for the Sudety Glassworks in Szczytna Śląska, dating from the 1970s. Crafted from thick, blown glass in a saturated, amber-orange hue, the piece exhibits a dynamic, sculptural silhouette with softly contoured, organic lines. Its harmonious proportions—a broad, gently rounded midsection tapering to a narrower base, crowned by a cylindrical open neck—reflect the mid-century modern fascination with fluid, natural forms. Executed in the foamed glass (antico) technique, the form is distinguished by numerous micro air bubbles embedded within, lending the surface a lively, textured appearance and a unique optical depth. The glossy, highly reflective finish, together with subtle tonal gradations—particularly at the base and rim—emphasizes both craftsmanship and the singular character of the object. The condition is very good: no visible chips, cracks, or signs of restoration, and only minimal traces of age consistent with careful display. This glass object
