This ruby-red lidded goblet, produced by the Józefina Glassworks in Szklarska Poręba circa 1922, is crafted from high-quality lead crystal. The piece features a tall, slender silhouette, seamlessly transitioning from a wide, scalloped base through a delicately waisted stem to a robust, bulbous bowl, crowned with a domed lid topped by a faceted finial. The crystal’s lustrous finish intensifies the saturated ruby color—its subtle translucency lets light filter through, accentuating the glass’s depth and tonal richness. Flat, geometric cut faceting distributed across the base and lid clearly references Art Deco aesthetics, underscored by careful repetition and symmetry that exemplify early twentieth-century glass artistry. The goblet is preserved in very good, pristine original condition, without damage or signs of restoration.
