This original group photograph from 1928 captures participants of a domestic economy course at the agricultural school in Landau, Germany. The black-and-white composition features young women in uniform aprons alongside several men—likely teachers—posed outdoors against a backdrop of trees, illuminated by natural light. The photograph is centrally mounted within its period solid wood frame, finished in a warm medium-brown tone with visible wood grain and a glossy surface. Inside, a deep green matte passe-partout, adorned with gold-colored floral and scrollwork motifs characteristic of Central European interwar eclecticism, surrounds the image. The frame’s slightly raised, textured black outer edge and neatly mitered corners further emphasize its classic construction. The piece is protected by a glass pane, and all elements remain original.
