The traditional Beni Ouraine rug, measuring 150 × 250 cm, is a hand-woven artisan piece from Morocco. Made from natural wool, it features a thick, soft texture with a matte finish. The warm ivory background is interrupted by a bold amber-yellow rectangular block, complemented by two geometric accents in cool gray—a hexagon and a rectangle—placed asymmetrically along the left edge. The color palette is limited to a few tones, giving the composition clarity and a modern look. The shorter sides are finished with short fringes, emphasizing the traditional touch, while subtle irregularities in the weave attest to the handcraft and authenticity. The rug’s design uses the language of modernist abstraction, where geometric divisions and the interplay of color create a calm yet distinctive narrative.
