This handmade Berber rug, sized 100 x 200 cm, is crafted in Morocco from thick, natural wool, giving the surface a matte, tactile texture with substantial structure. The primary color is a warm, ivory tone with a creamy accent, crossed by a regular geometric diamond pattern woven in deep black and muted red lines. The top edge is finished with a narrow, woven black-and-white band, while the bottom features a row of hand-knotted natural wool fringes. Subtle irregularities in the weave and visible hand-knotting highlight its authentic, artisanal nature, rooted in the minimalist tradition of Moroccan Beni Ourain rugs. The repeating diamond motif references Berber symbolism and tradition, while maintaining a restrained, contemporary form.
