This handwoven rug, measuring 100 x 200 cm, is crafted in Morocco from pure wool, finished with hand-knotted, off-white cotton fringes. The composition is built on warm, earthy hues—terracotta, ochre, and mustard—punctuated by accent blocks of vibrant blue, deep green, fuchsia, pale blush, and turquoise. The abstract, geometric pattern references mid-century modern aesthetics and contemporary Berber motifs. The surface is plush, thick, and slightly coarse, with a matte finish that enhances the natural quality of the wool. Straight edges and a dense, even weave ensure structural durability. The rug’s pattern evokes a dialogue between tradition and modernity—irregular shapes and fluid color transitions create an atmosphere of artistic freedom.
