This handwoven Berber rug, measuring 150 x 250 cm, is crafted in Morocco from natural wool with a touch of cotton. Its structure is dense and soft, with a subtly uneven, artisanal surface that highlights the hand-knotting process. The matte ivory background creates a calm base for geometric color blocks in cobalt blue, olive green, taupe-grey, and burgundy, arranged vertically on one side. On the opposite side, three parallel amber-orange lines introduce a dynamic, linear contrast. The bottom edge features a bold burgundy stripe, and the perimeter is finished with simple, hand-knotted fringes. The construction is robust, and the visible handwork ensures each piece is unique. The design balances serenity with energy—a warm, neutral field meets bold modernist accents.
