The Beni Ouraine rug, sized 150 x 250 cm, is handwoven in Morocco from natural wool using traditional Berber techniques. The main surface features a saturated, warm pink hue, contrasted by bold black-and-white parallel stripes along the left and bottom edges, with a smaller geometric accent in the upper right corner. The finish is matte, with a soft and plush texture; the subtly uneven surface and visible knots highlight its artisanal origin. The edges are completed with white wool tassels, gently framing the modern, graphic composition. A strong presence of color and geometric lines translates the classic Beni Ouraine form into the language of contemporary design. The pink field acts as a backdrop for dynamic stripes, while the surface texture hints at the hand's gesture and the maker's individual imprint. There is a tension between the softness of the material and the precision of geometry, as if the woolen surface were a canvas where tradition encounters modern visual narratives.
