This handwoven Berber rug, measuring 160 x 240 cm, is crafted from thick, pure wool. The composition features large, irregular color blocks—deep brown, creamy beige, muted navy, and soft ochre—all in a matte finish. Color transitions are bold and organic, with no sharp contours, while the surface remains slightly uneven, characteristic of handweaving. Simple braided edges and a row of hand-tied fringes on the bottom complete the piece. The overall design merges traditional Moroccan craftsmanship with a modern, abstract approach to form. The rug evokes the landscapes of North Africa—warm earth, stone, and shifting light—through its visual language. It synthesizes opposites: tranquil, matte wool contrasts with dynamic color blocks, and the irregular shapes hint at forms found in nature.
