This handwoven rug, measuring 200 × 300 cm, is crafted from natural wool on a cotton warp in Morocco’s Midelt region, where weaving traditions are passed down through generations. Its monochromatic surface in a saturated shade of magenta, entirely free of patterns or accent colors, focuses attention on the quality of the material and artisanal craftsmanship. The matte finish absorbs light, while the thick, soft pile and hand-tied fringes in the same color emphasize both solidity and authenticity.
