This handmade rug, measuring approximately 250 × 150 cm, is crafted in Morocco and draws on Berber weaving tradition with a distinctly modernist sensibility. A deep, matte cobalt blue anchors the central and lower sections, contrasted by a cool sage green in the upper band and a single geometric motif in warm ochre. The natural creamy border frames the composition, transitioning into short, hand-knotted fringes at both ends. The surface is dense and soft, made from natural wool with a tight weave and subtle artisanal irregularities that signal hand craftsmanship. The minimalist, mid-century inspired design stands in balance with the organic texture, highlighting both technical skill and material authenticity.
