This handmade Berber rug, measuring 150 × 250 cm, is crafted from thick wool with a matte, plush texture. The dominant deep blue field features a cool undertone, contrasted by bold, black-and-white geometric stripes framing the borders. The central area is punctuated by small mustard yellow dots, while additional horizontal and vertical bands in orange and lavender introduce a subtle contemporary element. Both short ends are finished with hand-knotted fringes in off-white. The even weave and balanced proportions emphasize the artisanal skill distinctive of Moroccan workshops. The rug’s composition balances traditional craftsmanship with modern abstraction.
