The handwoven Beni Ouraine rug, sized 100 x 200 cm, is crafted in Ouadzem, Morocco, using thick natural wool. Its matte, cool charcoal grey base is intersected by ivory-white geometric lines that form elongated diamonds and lozenges along the length of the rug. The pattern draws from mid-century Berber tribal aesthetics, while a short fringe in a pale, almost mint-tinted white adds a subtle finish. The pile is plush and slightly shaggy, with visible hand-knotting attesting to its artisanal construction. Each piece is entirely handmade, with no machine elements, resulting in subtle irregularities in the pattern and fringe that underscore its authenticity. Restrained colors and a bold grid evoke the calm of the Moroccan landscape, where geometric motifs reflect the daily rhythm of Berber artisans.
