This handwoven rug, measuring 100 × 200 cm, is crafted from pure, natural wool using traditional techniques from the Midelt region in the Atlas Mountains. The design is built around geometric blocks: a central, dusty rose is flanked by sage and deep forest green, with two thin horizontal lines in burgundy adding rhythm. Bold vertical stripes in black and ivory create a graphic border, lending the composition an almost Art Deco structure. The pile is thick and matte with a slightly shaggy, soft texture. Hand-tied natural wool fringes finish the edges, emphasizing artisanal craftsmanship and authenticity. The rug’s form bridges Berber tradition with mid-century abstraction.
